It was finally time for our long-awaited holiday in the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park. Based on our previous wonderful experiences at Naba Lodge we decided to stay there again on our way from Durban. As usual the reception was warm, friendly, professional and extremely accommodating. the units that were allocated to us were not only roomy, but tastefully decorated and comfortable. The beautiful garden with plenty of bird life (and an occasional mongoose :D) also contains a lovely pool area where one can relax and some very welcome shady trees to give a respite from the heat. Parking is not undercover, but secure and close to the rooms.||||Naba Lodge is close to the casino and conveniently close to the new and very modern Kalahari Mall with all its restaurants, shops and take-away franchises. We had an enjoyable and restful stay and left for the Kgalagadi refreshed after a good nights peaceful sleep: Although the Lodge is situated close to the very busy N12,the rooms are designed in such a way that noise levels are reduced to the minimum.||||Central aircon unit tends to be noisy and can apparently not be turned up, down or off individually which might cause some irritation.||||They could unfortunately not accommodate us for our return trip, but made arrangements on our behalf to stay in another guest house of similar or better amenities as part of the service. We will definitely stay there again should we travel to that part of the country again. More...
