What’s your interior design process?
Our design process is simple and our initial objective is to view the site and understand what result the client has in mind, their likes and dislikes, whether it be in person or virtual. The next step would be to create a concept for the client that we discuss and the editing process begins. Once the client is happy with the concept we put a budget together for them, this we will also discuss openly and make some changes to fit into the client's budget for the project at hand. Once all the paperwork is complete, we can start on site and the fun begins.
Which interior design styles can you cater for?
We have worked with many different clients and during this time we have shown that we are able to incorporate various styles into our design process. As mentioned in our design process above, the discussion with our client on their likes and dislikes and their vision helps to steer us in the direction of the design style we will move towards for the specific project on hand. This is also visible in some of the images provided on previous projects we have completed.
What do you love most about your job?
To us, design is about feeling. The main object is to interpret this through the space we are creating. Working closely with our client and seeing it all come together is incredibly satisfying. Creativity and problem solving is the core of our process. You have to be passionate about design to execute a beautiful outcome.
What inspired you to start your own business?
After many years in the industry and being blessed with wonderful mentors along the way who empowered me and encouraged me; exposing me to every aspect within design, allowing me to gain experience in all areas necessary to execute turn key projects with confidence, resulted in me venturing out on my own; confident enough to implement everything I have learnt along the way and translating this knowledge in my own way.

The million dollar question. Well, I have worked with and for many designers and we don't all share the same passion and work ethic that I believe we have at KDS. The drive and passion for this industry is part of our soul and as long as the passion, creativity, knowledge and work ethic is there, you as the client can feel confident that we will complete and execute your project successfully and with love.
