About

As with any journey, seeing from where I started, being the skinny and awkward guy in the room.. and dealing with my own insecurities. It all came to a boiling point where not only I started a journey to fitness, but also one to self-improvement.

Michael has been a great trainer for me. He is very knowledgeable in every aspect in getting fit, such as diet, recovery from injuries, understanding different body type, and of course the actual workouts. Next to that, Michael is laidback to work with, very friendly and a good communicator. All in all, I would always highly recommend Michael to other people. More...

Michael is very motivating. I have a love-hate relationship with him for the past 2 years. He's made me wanna work for the fitness level and lifestyle that I wanna be in. Keep it up! Sometimes when I travel I almost feel insecure about not seeing and working out with him. But he's got his app up and running! Yippee! More...

Michael is a knowledgeable fitness trainer who not only understands the science behind training but brings with him a certain discipline that is very “key” for consistent results. I have trained with Michael for 2 years now and this includes the time of my pregnancy for which Michael designed a special fitness program suited to my needs. My husband also works out with Michael and is very happy to be achieving the fitness goals they have set out for him. We are confident to recommend his training and fitness services to anyone aspiring a healthy and fit lifestyle. More...

Embarking on a fitness journey is easy – sticking to it is the hard part. Michael has helped me stay on track by creating a sustainable workout plan tailored to my specific needs and fitness level, zero judgement and lots of encouragement! For anyone deciding to take the first step to better health and wellness, I would recommend a trusted guide to track your performance and work at your pace to achieve your goals. If you’re anything like me, someone who doesn’t take to exercise naturally, I can’t think of anyone better than Michael to help you every step of the way. More...

There is no substitute for well planned, focused, consistent hard work. If you want to achieve your dream body, set your goals, and lay out a path of how you plan to achieve them. Put together your plan and understand what it’s going to take, and how you are going to change your lifestyle. Prepare yourself for possible setbacks, and set off to achieve your dream body step by step.

The ability to use my knowledge, experience, and love of fitness to help enrich somebody else’s life. I’ve had so many clients tell me their favourite part of the day was our session; what a fantastic feeling!

As with any journey, seeing from where I started, being the skinny and awkward guy in the room.. and dealing with my own insecurities. It all came to a boiling point where not only I started a journey to fitness, but also one to self-improvement.

And as I reflect over the past decade, I’ve turned a lot of my own insecurities into strengths, and still continuing the journey of self-improvement. I’m reminded of what fitness is truly all about- uncovering the beauty and strengths within all of us. And building the confidence necessary to tackle any obstacles we may face.

In 2014, I started my fitness career in a small boutique gym, Oxygen Fitness. Which is located In a small town called Port Alfred, Eastern Cape, South Africa. Where I worked as a fitness and spinning instructor.

A year later, in 2015, I started the process of reinventing myself as a qualified personal trainer, in order to help others and to make a world a better place.

In 2016, I continued my fitness journey by relocating to Johannesburg, South Africa. As I felt this was the right move for me to achieve own personal goals and dreams. During my time here, I’ve encouraged men and women of all ages and life stages to do the same.

Never judge me on my winners, but on my losers because I have so few.
