Update for two plugins namely WPBakery Page Builder & Slider Revolution is not available. What do you love most about your job?
We enjoy bringing our clients dreams into a reality by providing high quality work and to cultivate fresh, vibrant ideas into the architectural space. Our goal is to produce high quality work that will impact the environment positively.
What inspired you to start your own business?
KANA Afrika is a black owned company run by two young females. We believe we have an important role to play, as young African female architects not only in our direct field but also the construction field as a whole. Representation is very important to us so strive be example/inspiration for every girl child growing up in our context. With our country’s past, spatial injustice is still rife, one of our primary focus is helping to create socio-spatial justice through our architectural practices.

We strive in accurately interpreting our clients briefs and build trustworthy and enduring professional relationships with our clients. KANA’s vision is to become one of the leading black female owned architecture firms in Africa. To collaborate with other firms across the continent and produce creative ideas that will improve the African Infrastructure.

We can provide services online and remotely. We open to having regular online meetings with ours clients. We also do site calls, should the client require us to inspect the site they are intending to do work on.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
During Covid-19 we meet with our clients online, and show all the work virtually. When the client asks for a physical meeting, we make sure everyone is safe and wearing mask. The meeting place is usually open and not in confined spaces.
