Intellectchild is a sole-trader that focuses on unlocking your child's intelligence using a student-centered approach to learning. I am a BA (psychology and Philosophy major) student at the University of South Africa. My greatest passion is to develop creativity, reading, spelling, and numeracy capabilities in a child.

What do you love most about your job?
what I love most about my job is connecting on a personal level with a student resulting in bringing out their greatest capabilities and intellect. I love seeing the end result when a student is more confident in their schoolwork and has more understanding which leads to the development of their self-esteem.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Tutoring started as a hobby for me because of my passion for children's educational development. What inspired me is the passion that I had and that I wanted to share with a broader audience.

I offer my best service to ensure that students can perform independently, understand their work, and can manage their academic life. I offer student-centered learning, which allows them to express themselves and play an equally active role in the learning process. I offer assessments tailored for your children.

My services are online via zoom. The class will be scheduled accordingly, looking at the parent's comfortability and the availability of the tutor.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
My classes are online and therefore parents do not have to worry about keeping safe from the virus.

I tutor children from grades R-7. I offer maths practice on topics that your child may find difficult to understand. I help children with creative writing, reading, and spelling. I teach children how to read to understand and answering of questions. I also focus on punctuation, grammar, and language.
I can be a study buddy for your child while doing so, I teach them tricks, does and don't and how to prepare for a test or exam.
