Lizelle looked after my mom before she realised herself that she required assistance. She was a friend and confidant to my mom when she became ill, and she took care of her like she would her own mother. Lizelle is honest, and really does what she says she will. She ensured that my mom had the right food, took her meds, and assisted with taking her blood pressure and blood glucose. She is also a trained nurse, and can administer injections, and take care of wounds.
At the end when my mom was not able to do anything for herself, she ensured that the correct regime was followed to ensure that my mom did not get any bedsores. Llizelle called in every day for approx 8 months, weekends, public holidays. She never let me down once. I had to have wound care and she was amazingly gentle. Lizelle and her team were amazing taking care of my mom. She is such an upbeat person and her staff has a very easy going manner in dealing with mom when she started being a little confused with the onset of dimentia. We initially just needed someone to make sure she takes her meds and monitor her glucose levels and blood pressure and cooking a few meals a day. When mom (84) was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, she started needing 24/7 care and they went above and beyond to keep her comfortable. We ended up doing palative care at home and Lizelle would call me with facetime, so I could talk to my mom.
