What’s your signature dish?
A signature dish is a recipe that identifies an individual chef or restaurant; at FOX AND JACKAL, we like to be progressive, forward-thinking, and creative, our main focus is always the ingredients, sourcing, and flavors. These are always changing throughout the year so our dishes will also too. Sometimes the most simple dishes are our favorite like- Sea Urchin, Confit piquillo peppers, Ciabatta, and Goats Cheese. Or dishes that evoke memories, timeless classics.
How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?
Our Focus is always on customer preferences, and purpose. Obviously, budget, location, and dietary requirements all take factor but at FOX AND JACKAL, we focus on the food and as always the ingredients, sourcing, presentation, and flavors. As Trained Chefs with many years of experience, we can assist and lead you to make memorable experiences and food you and your guests would love.
What do you love most about your job?
EVOKING A MEMORY, A STORY, THAT STIMULATES THE SENSES AND CREATES AN ORIGINAL EXPERIENCE; ENJOYMENT IS SEEING OTHERS ENJOY.
What inspired you to start your own business?
We have worked with many great people and Chefs along the way So in a way it was created from good inspiration, we study the masters, learn the trades and seek to create our own works of art despite the giant shoulders which we stand on. It's said that there are no new tales, only the same stories retold. Yet, it's amazing how we can retell these stories to each new generation and continue to inspire. Whatever you aspire to be, whether it be great at serving food or great at serving others, entrepreneurship allows you to do what you LOVE and to help others do what you love as well.
