Our family had the most wonderful photo session with Tiaan! He made the day exceptionally memorable not only by providing us with the most beautiful photos, but by making us enjoy the day though his relaxed, humouristic and quiet manner. We often forgot he was taking the photos and just enjoyed our time as family together. He had a wonderfully patient way of dealing with the children (and adults).... What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Don't know if there is a secret... just need to have passion for what you do and the drive to give your client what they want (what they envision) in a desirable and high quality product.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What is the purpose of the images, what would you use it for?
What is your timeframe?
How many people will be involved?
What do you love most about your job?
There are different elements that makes it great, a bit of consistency in doing the same thing over but also uncertainty in photographing someone different every time.
Love to meet new people and travel, experiencing new places!
What inspired you to start your own business?
There is freedom in working for yourself, I can pursue my ideas and vision.
Why should our clients choose you?
I am set on delivering a high quality product that is in line with what the client wants, while making it as painless as possible for those who don't necessarily like to be in front of the camera (read husbands ;-)
