What do you love most about your job?
Our en-devour to create a safe space for both families and businesses to live and operate in. We have core values of which protection and safety takes 1st priority and we strive to uphold this for all our clients.
What inspired you to start your own business?
FERN Security Services a relatively new company which was founded by Mr Hyran Marcus and Mr Mohamed Ramathula in 2021 who have a combination of 30 years of experience within the Security field. Mr Hyran and Mr Mohamed are extremely passionate about the well being of others and realized that they wanted to make the difference in protecting our citizens without any limitations and restrictions and decided it was time for them to venture out on their own and started FERN Security Services (PTY) Ltd. With core values in mind protection and safety this is what we striving for and aim to achieve.
Why should our clients choose you?
We feel that we can be the most cost effective service provider. Accompanying being cost effective we can provide a more complete service in regards to access control. Covid systems, guarding etc. due to our combined experience in all fields security.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We have put in place a comprehensive Covid system at all our guarding sites to not only curb the spread of Covid among our guards and there families but to also protect whom ever enters said sites.
Guarding (Commercial & Residential)
Full guard allocation to spec service area. Guards armed with pepper spray, hand cuffs, teazer, baton and panic button for armed reaction.
Armed Response
24 hrs Armed response.
Day and Night patrols.
Panic buttons linked to armed response.
CCTV Surveillance
Both onsite and offsite monitoring 24hrs.
Installation of CCTV system at cost to client if required.
Facial recognition and or number plate scanning cameras if requested at cost to client.
Access Control and Covid systems
Full access systems can be put in place as required(site pacific).
Covid systems available at cost to client(sanitizing station, temperature screening station etc.)
Mag lock systems for pedestrian gates.
Natis scanners at cost to client.
Boom gates, speed humps,signage etc.at cost to client if required
Electric Fencing & Gate Motors
New installations and or repairs to exciting electric fences and gates on request from client.
Services on energizers and or upgraded units
Intercoms, Networking, Internal Alarms
Full integrated systems available at cost to client apon request and or quotation
Guard track system
Full guard track system on request with live clocking system that will enable both client and service provider to track/monitor patrols.
Patrol reports are live and could be shared when requested at any given time.
