What do you love most about your job?
I love that we get to work with children. Children are like sponges, their minds grasp anything and everything you throw their way and i like that because of that we get the opportunity to bring out the best in people's children. We get to teach them the world in a way that makes it fun to explore, that we are a multi disciplined team and so we leave no gaps in the development of your child.
What inspired you to start your own business?
My desire to watch parents and their children thrive in all areas of their lives. Growing up i attended a local school in the township and with grace i got a scholarship to study in one of the best schools i south africa (Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls) where i saw the gaps in the education industry. A lack of holistic team driven interventions in child development. As a nurse I was intrigued with the development of the child and realised how holistic care is the most effective way of making sure that your child thrives. I then decided to fix this problem and do childcare the way it should be done.
Parents usually have to sacrifice a healthy, balance and fun lifestyle in exchange for making sure that their children get the best. Shopping services and transport services are at our fingertips, and its time safe childcare service do the same. The freedom to move as you please knowing that there will be someone next to you to help with your children, the freedom to attend events and have childcare services is a necessity. You dont need to cancel your most important day just because your baby caught a little fever. We are here. We have normalised our children sitting with a nanny for hours on end with very little to no stimulation. Let alone giving all children the same activities to do, but children all have different needs and we cater for that. Full reports on the progress of your child is almost rare when not in a school setting. We want to give parents the luxury of having their children watched at home and still getting a full comprehensive report on the development of their child and recommendations for problem areas at no extra charge
