Hi! My name is Devon and I am a Certified Personal Trainer and Nutritional Coach.

I got serious about training and nutrition after I suffered through a period of anorexia nervosa at a young age. My overwhelming desire to understand the relationship between human physiology and psychology lead me to conducting my own research to which I discovered far too many people who appear “healthy” are actually fighting similar battles in their minds like I did.

I recently reached out to Dev Bruce for a personalized workout plan aswell as a meal plan to get be back on track after lockdowns binge eating. Very professional and knowledgeable in his profession and more than willing to answer my 101 questions I was asking. I’ve been training with Devon basically since high school, and I was one of his first official clients when he started his brand while I was in Korea and he was in China. There’s no challenge too big for him. If you need a new training plan, need to shakeup your diet, plan a supplement regimen that’s tailored personally for you and your lifestyle - he’s your guy. I listen to the clients needs and we discuss the various ways we can go about reaching their goals in the shortest time but in the healthiest possible way.

Consistency is probably the biggest factor which will determine whether you succeed in your quest for a beautiful bod. It's not always easy and we all slip up from time to time, but empathise with my clients and I am always there to help get them back on track so that we can continue to make progress.

Watching people make the decision to change their lives for the better, staying committed even when it gets touch and looking back at how far they've come truly is the most satisfying feeling in the world. I love to educate but I also love to learn and this industry and this job provides me with everything that makes me happy and keeps me going.

I've always been health conscious, not just about the body, but the mind too and the important and oh so often overlooked relationship between the two. My dream was was to have a well built physique after just a few years of lifting but I went about it the wrong way and ultimately landed up very sick. I thought I was the only boy at age 14 with severe OCD, body dysmorphia, and a very unhealthy relationship with food. But over time I realised it was a very common problem and one that was just too often ignored or dismissed. So, I made it my purpose to help those who fought and continue to fight the mental anguish that comes with how we view ourselves and how we can put our mind at ease so that we can focus on transforming our appearance which ultimately fuels self-confidence and boosts self-esteem.

Well, I'd love to say I know it all but no one knows everything. That being said, I do believe I've experienced a lot more than most personal trainers I know and I hope that gives me an advantage as I feel I am able to work with clients on a much broader spectrum and I may have more to offer.

Both. I have a platform I use to host live lessons and I also go door to door or out in public spaces to deliver my services.

Initially I only did live workouts online. For those who wanted prescribed plans I would simply email them and follow up either using email, Zoom or WhatsApp. For house calls or one on one sessions we wear masks, wash hands, use sweat towels and sanitise before and after our workouts.

My Virtual Sessions have enjoyed great success with clients being able to schedule their home workouts around their busy schedules so that they never have a reason to skip a workout.

Whether you're a seasoned athlete or just starting out, we will be able to devise a program that caters to your every needs so that you can see the changes in yourself in the shortest time.

Once you've contacted me, I will schedule a free consultation to assess your current fitness levels and state of health, then soon afterwards a custom home workout plan will be created just for you.

The beauty of this service is that you can be based anywhere in the world and I will work with you to ensure that you are held accountable and stay motivated to complete every workout.

House calls are always great fun. Again, after an initial consult and with a plan in hand I will bring any equipment we may need and enjoy a home based workout together in the comfort of your own home or an outdoor area like a beach or park.

How I originally started the business. Communicating with clients around the world and prescribing workout and meal plans designed to get them off the ground and have something to hold themselves accountable. I do weekly check ins with this service which include a phone call to discuss progress and feedback and make any adjustments based on how a client is feeling and responding to the plans prescribed.
