What inspired you to start your own business?
Colette Photography is a small business that I started so I could use my passion for photography to preserve these special moments in people’s lives.
A memory might fade but a photograph never will.
History – Colette Photography was started by Kaylin Jacobs in 2018 after graduating from Jocath photography in 2017
I started Colette Photography mainly because I have always deeply loved taking photos. In 2018 I decided to follow my passion and attend the Jocath Photography Academy to further my knowledge of photography and turn my passion into a profession.
Since 2017 I’ve worked mainly as a festival and event photographer for various entertainment labels.

People like me freeze time so that you can gaze into the past and cherish it forever.
Whether it’s a picture of you caught in the moment, having the time of your life, or perhaps a family shoot while the kids are still seen to be your “precious little angels” A shoot with your friends celebrating a milestone, or maybe something romantic for the couples. We will be able to capture it together.
I look at a photograph and see a return ticket to the past, so let’s create moments to travel back to.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I sanitize regularly in between every shoot just to be safe & I always wear my mask when I'm shooting.
