What do you love most about your job?
Architecture requires that one empathize - that one thoroughly understands a client or the end user's needs, pictures the world from their perspective, and imagines their experience of a completed building. In a way, it's an opportunity to live many lives. It's simultaneously creative, and scientific.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I enjoy calling the shots. I've been working under directors for some time now, and the artistic freedom of running one's own practice is invigorating.
