What’s the secret to keeping a party dancing all night long?
Everyone loves a good throwback. The best playlists are full of music that takes you to when you first met the love of your life, partied with your friends in high school and varsity and of course the songs that get you up even when you're feeling like you can't dance any longer!
How would you describe your ‘style’?
We at 5678 don't have a particular style. We rely on your input as to what songs, artists and genres you and your guests enjoy as well as how they are feeling on the day of the event to ensure that there is always someone dancing. Our motto is your day - your vibe and we always do our best to reflect that in our work.
What do you love most about your job?
Being around people who are celebrating, whatever the occasion, is an exceptional experience. Being able to use music to guide people through a day or an evening with all the songs that contribute to who you are is a thrill.
What inspired you to start your own business?
After freelancing for Capricorn Music for 5 years Nick was offered the opportunity to take over Capricorn Music when the owners emigrated. He takes on a legacy of a company that ran for 25 years. Nick is an entrepreneur at heart and having spent many years in the entertainment industry this was an opportunity not to be lost.
