Thatching Maintenance
I am extremely unhappy about the unprofessional service by Alfred Mutseneki whom I found through SHAREPOINT.
On the 14th of November 2024, I engaged Alfred Mutseneki to fix the thatch of my Granny Cottage that was leaking and I paid him R3500.
00. On the 8th of December 2024 it rained and my roof was still leaking and I informed him immediately, he only send his team in January but they still they did not fix the leak, since then I have been following up with him to come an fix the leaks since I paid him in full. After several follow up, he started being rude to me and asked me to go to Small Claims Court. I am very upset, because I did not only lose R3 500.00 but my tenant has given notice to move out because of the leaks

I REMEMBER ADVISING YOU TO RETHATCH THE WHOLE BUILDING STRUCTURE AND TO REPLACE THE CAPE WITH A BIGGER ONE AND YOU CHOSE TO DO MINOR PATCH UPS WHICH WASN'T ENOUGH TO PREVENT THE SMALL LEAKS. YOU COULD HAVE FOLLOWED MY ADVICE AND WE WOULDN'T BE IN THIS SITUATION. I CAME BACK TO YOU TWICE TO TRY TO FIX THE PROBLEM BUT UNFORTUNATELY THE DEFINITION OF INSANITY IS TO DO ONE THING OVER AND OVER AND EXPECT DIFFERENT RESULTS.!!!GOOD LUCKY FOR TRYING TO RUIN MY BUSINESS!!!

Sharepoint was paid to fully install the pool and the pool separated, leaving large patches of bubbles. Alfred Mutseneki the owner kept on giving excuses and I have to involve my attorneys for him to come. He later removed the patches of the fibre and asked for money to buy the material. Alfred and his team did a great job fixing my thatch lapa. Two of the main poles had broken and the lapa was starting to lean to the side. They jacked up the lapa, pulled it straight and replaced the poles. Will be sturdy now for another 25 years. I also got them to paint the exterior of my house, including the roof. They did a great job here as well and also redid the textured finish on some of my walls, where it had come off. I will most certainly use them agaijn. More...

The team, led by their hands-on owner of the company, Alfred, are very professional. On top of free assessment and accommodating quotation, this team is very reliable and dependable. I had a shell swimming pool which was leaking, and after their assessment they advised me to build a new swimming, gave me two professional quotes one for marblelite and another one for fibre glass finishing. Because of their reasonable and accommodating price, as well as the explanations and advices they gave me, I chose fibre glass finishing quote and they rebuilt my swimming pool in an excellent way which I never imagined. Hi the guys started of good I paid then the 60% as deposit R57 000 after week paid another R30 000 after 3days another 14 000 because I need extra work to be done bear in mind they only 50% complete on Friday the guy tells me he under quote me and he will try finish the job on Monday i gave him another 5000 and Tuesday another 5000 take note I have paid him R111 000 and -his quote was R94500 I paid him more because there was tiling that needed to be done which he did not complete the pool is 75% done and today 31/07/2024 he sends a message saying he can't complain this job because he run out of money I don't understand how BaRk as a company can list such people this is the second time Bark recommended someone and has not completed his job I will need use or recommend bark to any more

I would recommend Sharepoint Projects for their work ethic and committment to the customer as experienced. They did an excellent job rethatching one of my lapas and harvey tiling the other and in addition provided a solution to diverting gutter splashing into the lapa which stems back 20 years from the initial installers for the then periodic owners of the property.

Great job Alfred and his team in renovating my pool. Really liked the professionalism displayed and the quality of work delivered. I was a little bit concerned they are from the East of Johannesburg and I’m from the North, but this didn’t have any impact on the quality of service they rendered infact this was to my advantage as they were able to source material from the East at reasonable prices compared to the North. I was also able to do extra changes that was not in the original plan.
