I am Jacki McWen-Powell, a certified integrative nutrition health coach, and I have had the pleasure of working with Robyn, my gym coach, since October 2020. Over the past four years, our training sessions have been conducted online, allowing me to maintain my fitness routine despite living between South Africa and the UK, and travelling extensively.

As a health coach, I understand the importance of a support system that keeps you motivated and pushes you to achieve your goals. Robyn has been that support system for me and more. Training with Robyn four times a week, with a focus on weight training and some HIIT, has been transformative. I am still achieving personal bests in almost every session, which is a testament to Robyn’s ability to challenge and inspire me continually.

Robyn's flexibility is unparalleled. Whether I am at home with a few weights, have access to a full gym for a few months, or am working out in a hotel gym for a few weeks, Robyn ensures that my workouts are always challenging and appropriate. This adaptability has been crucial in helping me maintain consistency and progress, regardless of my circumstances.

The results speak for themselves. I have dropped 7.2kg in body weight, dropped 2.6 BMI droped 3.1% body fat, increased skeletal muscle by1.8%, and dropped 2 dress sizes. I've built lean muscle, and feel stronger and more comfortable in my body than ever before. Remarkably, my need for regular chiropractic visits has reduced to zero, highlighting the comprehensive benefits of our training regime.

Robyn's support goes beyond just physical training. As a coach, she provides the motivation and encouragement needed to keep going, even on the toughest days. Her dedication to my progress and well-being has been invaluable.

I have been using Robyn for almost a year and a half with her workouts and advise I lost just over 15kg. Also if you have any injuries Robyn likes to do research to find ways that can help you recover quickly and efficiently so that you can put in the time on those workouts.

All the physios and surgeons didn't help me squat, excuse the pun. Robyn was the only one who suggested exercises that actually help keep me injury free.

I offer both 1-1 and small group training, in person and online. I am based at a Crossfit box in Claremont, Cape Town, but am available for online training country wide as well. Together we will figure out what it is you want to achieve and set up a training plan around this. I specialise in Circuit/Crossfit style workouts that can be tailored to suit all fitness levels.
