The project started well on 13 December 2024. It is now a nightmare, I have been stuck with an incomplete garage, rubble on site, none of the finishes have been done and I have paid as per the agreement. Getting hold of the manager is a struggle and when you get hold of him, all that he has is empty promises and nothing gets done. PROCEED WITH CAUTION.! More...

I think there was a misunderstanding here, we managed to push the project to be finished, the problem was the holiday and rain thus why we took so long to finish the project but the project was successfully finished

Protea King Construction did not complete the project even though we paid them as agreed. They were not honest with us about who the company owner was, Dumisani introduced himself as the owner but then once things started falling through the cracks he disappeared and another person claimed to be Dumisani the owner. They did not pay the tiler and electrician they got to work on our project. These subcontractors ended up chasing us to pay them. I would not recommend this company. They are not professional, trustworthy and the quality of internal finishings was not good. More...

How can someone tell if their Garage is suitable for conversion?
strength of the wall, roof type, mostly if the garage is not attached to the main house, Foundatin strength.
Run us through the different stages of the Garage conversion process - what's involved?
Firstly if the conversion includes going up we have to do foundation under pinning so it can sustain a double or tripple story. closing the garage door into a standard door, doing the partition walls according to the new proposed plan, demolition od walls where windows will be fitted
