I reached out to Lavita Designs for a quote on October 12. While they did respond, the quotation process has taken an unreasonably long time. I understand that businesses get busy, but it’s disappointing that something as simple as a quote can take weeks. It doesn’t give much confidence in their turnaround times — if a quote takes this long, I can only imagine how long production might take. I am pleased with the service and quality of the product. It's very difficult in South Africa to find oak vanities in bathroom that are customisable in size. They even sent over the correct silver handles that I wanted as the gold ones were not what I required. Note the stone tops are not sealed onto the unit for fitting purposes and a little silicone is just needed. All in all happy with my purchase and will definitely buy from them again. More...

We are very pleased with the service and quality of the products we received from this vanity supplier. The team was professional and attentive throughout the process. We did choose an oil stain, and although it wasn’t covering all the wood evenly as expected, we communicated this in advance, and they assured us it would absorb and develop a uniform finish. As you can see from the pictures, there is a noticeable "3-tier" color difference, (This was our -1 star) but overall, it doesn’t detract from our satisfaction. Waited more than 8 weeks for a standard order that was slated for 3-5 weeks on their website. No communication from the company, only after I sent numerous emails and whatsapps did I get a reply. After the item was dispatched, they promised a 7 day delivery time. After that time elapsed, and they still gave no communication, I contacted the courier company who said they will only deliver in 2 weeks. None of this was given through by LaVita. An entire bathroom renovation was on standstill due to this, so I arranged my own courier to bring it to me. Now they refuse to refund my courier fee even though they did not deliver it. What a fantastic company to deal with. From beginning to end, the experience was great. I ordered three vanities for delivery to KZN. First off, the units themselves are gorgeous and very well made. Far better than anything you are going to buy in a national bathroom supply store. One of the units was damaged during transport, but Bianca and the La Vita team promptly dealt with this and arranged a replacement unit to be swapped out for me.Customer service - 100% (Bianca was fantastic, providing lots of images of the units and helping us select the correct finish and get our measurements correct when tiling our new bathrooms).Product quality - 100% (truly beautiful and well built. Anyone who comes to visit keeps complimenting our bathroom vanities)Delivery - 80% (the damaged unit was not due to La Vita but the courier company. La Vita took 100% responsibility and made sure we didn't have many headaches to deal with. But I think a different courier may have handled the unit better.)Thank you Bianca and team.
