What do you love most about your job?
There is no off-the-shelf solar system that works for every home or business. Carefully sized systems to meet individual requirements result in a sustainable and efficient energy systems. Consulting and designing a system is key and results in happy and satisfied customers. With over 300 installations to date, I can visit each and every customer for a cup of coffee. Happy customers is what keeps us going!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have never worked for a boss, 40 years in business… know no different.

Hands-on and owner-managed. Uncompromising (German) quality. I am involved with every project from consultation right through to commissioning and long thereafter.

My phone is on 24/7 but please don’t call me for your broken toaster at 01h00, blaiming the solar system for its failure.
We can do limited configuration changes remotely (no service fee) and have a very sound working relationship with Goodwe South Africa for back-end remote support.
We monitor all our installations for free, no monthly levies, and get alarm messages from Goodwe global if there is any fault.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
There is no COVID-19 on the roof but loads of vitamin D. We don’t go to customer’s homes when our physical wellbeing is doubtful.
Wallbox / EV chargers
We are working closely together with MEKOR Motors Cape Town, the pioneering BYD motor dealership, and install BYD wall boxes for their customers. We also supply and install Goodwe single phase and 3~phase EV chargers
