What inspired you to start your own business?
I saw plenty of errors in Payroll in previous Accounting rolls. I couldn't find a Payroll Auditor out there so I decided I would be one! Many people did not realise how specialised payroll is. They often gave it to the poor accounts person and expected it would be right. They often didn't know what to do when an employee arrangement changes (eg from Full time to part time). Also Holiday pay can be complicated, some systems haven't kept up with the fact its annual leave in weeks not days.

I work remotely where I can. I wear a mask at all times and keep a distance of 1.5 meters if I am seeing clients
