How can someone tell if their Garage is suitable for conversion?
You’ll need to determine if the building is structurally sound and adequate for conversion. Visually how does it compare to a livable space, check for water damage, subsidence and if there is a draft. Converting a leaky shed will be harder than a well-made modern structure. Then try to identify what parts can be repurposed and what has to be replaced. Put together a list, with lots of photos, sketch out the existing floor plan with dimension and we can get started on a estimate.

Ideally, we’d like to conduct a free survey of the property, we can then break down the required stages and tasks. We can provide you a project plan, with a breakdown of staged tasks, labour, and material costs.
How can someone tell if their loft is suitable for conversion?
Someone will need to get into the loft and have a look. Is there enough space to stand? If so, that’s a good start! Then consider access and where the stairs will go? The configuration of the roof trusses may need to be changed to open up the space and various load-bearings may need to be adjusted.
