We went on the Halloween Train adventure this evening and it was fantastic. It was storytelling at it's best. The children went on a journey which finished in the pumpkin patch. They enjoyed carving their own pumpkins and enjoyed hot chocolate. The young people who enacted this adventure were very competent and loads of fun sparking the imagination of all age groups. More...

We had a lovely family day out yesterday at Rathwood. The pumpkin train ride was spooktacular and great value for money. The staff were very accommodating and there was SO much for the kids to see and do. There’s also lovely shopping for the home, garden and ones wardrobe. ( I’ll be back for my Xmas decorations!!!) Had a lovely play out at the playground today but it would appear some parents don't feel their children should be supervised, some very aggressive behaviour form an older group of children who's mothers were inside the premises, lots of parents not happy with the atmosphere those children put into the playground today.

The Teddy Bear Picnic is such a great idea however wasnt executed as well as was expected. The complete experience was 40 minutes which wasnt anywhere near enough time to properly enjoy it. Everything was very rushed... making the bears, feeding the geese and just being dropped at the picnic at the end... great idea but the time allowed most certainly needs to be reviewed! More...
