Pretty good for quick grub and a pint. Full Irish was quite satisfying and tasty. Followed by hop house pint, I left hairy lemon full of joy Place gets packed with lighting speed around lunch time so better get here early to avoid disappointment. Inside, almost every bit of space is filled with memorabilia, which I suppose makes the place a typical Irish pub. Cheers More...

Had a great time here. Nice bar with excellent Irish food. They brew their own Guinness which is always nice. Had the Guinness pie, cottage pie and Irish stew here. All were fantastic. The cottage pie does receive a special mention though, it was fabulous especially with that sauce they serve. More...

Really nice bar, but not cheap. The appetisers were so good and really promising so we stayed for diner, which was good but kind of a disappointment after the expectations created by the starters.

The restaurant side has a fantastic bread pudding. Ask them to serve it with a peated whiskey like Connemara peated, then pour a little splash on each bite. That's a tip a bartender gave us on our first visit that we have repeated on each trip back. Fun and lively place. More...

Not your typical Irish bar it was designed on a Swiss Alpine Tavern with loads of big wooden beams and cool little snugs. I first went into this bar when it was the "William Tell" back in the 1980's , I loved it then and the interior hasn't changed much . Still lovely long wooden bar and the other side of the pub is all windows great for people watching given its city centre location. Great spot for a pint around Christmas as the Swiss tavern design suits the festive season atmosphere to a tee. Cozy Pub More...

Friendly atmosphere with decent pub food. Izhar recommended we try the steak and Guinness pie and the Colcannon. Perfect combo for a drizzly Dublin day. We paired it with a local cider for a perfect match. Thanks Izhar! More...

More...

After a long flight coming from Los Angeles, upon arriving and getting settled in Dublin...our first stop aside from Temple Bar was the Hairy Lemon. We did our research, Hairy Lemon was one of the MUST eat restaurants in Dublin, so why not?We got there around 9:30 pm and they were able to accommodate us, alleluia! Thank you for nice people.I was eager to try seafood and Irish stew, so obviously based on the menu I wanted to order the seafood chowder (sooooo good for 10 euros) and also ordered the Irish Stew (so good - 17 euros), chunky chips (5 euros) with chili & mayo dip, and yes we asked for extra sauce, no shame. The seating arrangements are very tight, but who cares, the cozier the better, can't complain. Service was GREAT, we were very pleased. Tasty and hearty food, service, drinks, I recommend this place for sure. So glad we came here. More...
