The Church Café, Bar & Restaurant

Food was delicious, great venue. The staff were really friendly and helpful. It's such an unusual place for a bar but it's truly a wonderful and unique experience. You would expect the food to be really expensive but it was actually very reasonable. I've been here a few time time for beers but it was the first time I've went with food. It was fantastic. As the name implies it used to be a church but I have to confess I was never in it until it became a bar. It works very well and the stained glass windows, high ceiling and organ give it great character. There is a great choice of beers and spirits here. Been a good few times for lunch and or a couple of drinks. Beer options I find limited enough but the food is good the seats are comfortable and on our most recent visit our server was very good. There's a door going out to a smoking area..best not to sit beside it as people going in and out constantly banging door. Minor note though. Will be back soon enough. More...
