my wife & i had a very enjoyable triple treat break in this hotel.jade had arranged a lovely surprise for us on our arrival. the location of the hotel in the centre of town was excellent.the accomodation & food was very good.the staff were very helpful & friendly.a small thing we liked was that our toast was brought to the table rather than queing to do your own toast.the leisure facilities(pool etc) were kept very well.we are looking forward to returning to this hotel.very good value.very good standard.well done to every one involved.keep up the good work,good standard & good value please.no hesitation in recommending this hotel. Enjoyed a good sleep in a comfortable bed. Spacious room with good shower and bath. Lovely sea views and pool to use. Wide choice to help myself to at breakfast and papers to read in public area. Bar!

Thoroughly enjoyed our triple treat three night break here in Wexford. From start to finish staff were very friendly and professional even when under pressure in the dining room. The food was excellent and we were delighted with the selection at breakfast time also. My wife and I made full use of the gym and pool facilities. Again staff in leisure area were very helpful and good to advise best times to visit. Room was of good standard with only minor complaint being finding a plug for the kettle that didn't involve passing over a chair. The Talbot Hotel is really well located for walking and shopping in the town. The hotel was busy all weekend but our room was really quiet. The hotel staff were friendly and the service excellent. A couple of miles outside the town is the excellent Johnstown Castle. Well worth a visit for a tour of the castle, agricultural museum or walk the grounds. More...

Myself and my wife stayed for 4 days after getting married, the staff were absolutely amazing so friendly and attentive, we were given a room upgrade and a bottle of wine as well as other treats, the hotel is spotless and food is divine, the pool area is very relaxing, we loved everything about this hotel from the staff to the hotel itself, will be definitely visiting again and bringing the kids

My wife and I spent a very enjoyable 3 night break in this excellent hotel in Wexford. We had a lovely sea view room, complete with air conditioning and all mod cons. WiFi was very good and available throughout the hotel. Breakfast was good and had a fine range of food choices. We enjoyed top class 4 course dinners each night. Love this hotel - staff amazing - so kind, caring, attentive and friendly. The hotel has wonderful sea views that you need to request (& pay a small extra charge for, but totally worth it! ). I had booked our trip back in April but forgot to request sea view rooms and only remembered two days before our visit. The staff did their best and got us one room with a sea view, and two other rooms on the front of the hotel (which was our second choice). Stayed last Friday and Saturday night with family and friends and enjoyed my stay from start to finish. Had a lovely meal in the restaurant, chef was extremely accommodating as I am vegetarian and made a delicious pasta meal for me that was was not on the set menu. Extremely friendly staff in particular at reception, found them very personable and great with our children. Met Robert the GM who is an absolute gentleman and it filters throughout the organisation. Pool was great for our children who are 1 and 2. Very safe and clean. Bedroom was immaculate with an incredible view. Very close to the main shopping street, restaurants and pubs. Had a wedding on the Friday and there was no noise during the night, we all had fantastic sleeps and lie ons which is unheard of in our household! You will not be disappointed staying here, they went above and beyond and left a lasting impression on our stay. The only downfall was having to go home.
