I had some work done recently, I had one thing in mind but following consultation it changed for the better (much much better) and wasn’t any dearer. Job was done super fast to high quality finish. How can someone tell if their Garage is suitable for conversion?
How is the access? that would be our first question to start the conversation.
Would the Garage conversion alter the front of the property in any way? if so then this may cause a planning permission issue. You may need advice from a local architect or engineer.
Run us through the different stages of the Garage conversion process - what's involved?
Stage 1, Site visit to inspect the potential project and to start to build a relationship with the client.
Stage 2, Agree a plan and a deliver an estimated cost of works, enquire in relation to ay planning permission questions.
Stage 3, Deliver the estimated cost of works and complete a contract.
Stage 4, complete stage payments schedule and works to begin on the chosen date agreed by the client and contractor.
How can someone tell if their loft is suitable for conversion?
Head height is the most important thing to consider, You don't want to spend too much money on a conversion that may not reek the benefits if the head room is too low.
A site visit is essential before any works are discussed.
Run us through the different stages in the loft conversion process - what’s involved?
Sit meeting would be first off, then we would consider what type of conversion is it, for example is it a Habitable or non habitable room . clients should research this before contacting any contractor as it does have cost implications.
How long have you been in business?
We have been in the construction industry for the past 5 years directly ,however we were main sub contractors for various construction firms for the past 20years.
What guarantee does your work come with?
Our work would come with a varied contractual guarantee, agreed upon at the time of contract signing .
What do you love most about your job?
I love the different aspects of what we do, for example this week we have completed a small utility room extension and next week we have a maintenance contract on an old school that needs some tlc and in between all that we will be laying a laminate floor and tiling a kitchen splash back.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I wanted to bring a new idea , look and trustworthiness to "the term builder", this term is outdated and doesn't have any personal connect with the new population of our towns and villages. We feel we bring much more to the table regarding the services we provide.
