It is ok not to feel ok. When we have experienced trauma or difficulties in our lives, we may feel a low sense of worth, lack of belief in ourselves, or struggle in relationships with others. We may feel a lack of motivation, stress, anxiety or depression and find it difficult to cope. The pandemic is a current period of great difficulty which may also lead to such feelings.

Therapy can help to uncover our thoughts, feelings and beliefs about ourselves and others, and how these impact on our lives. The therapeutic relationship can support us to heal trauma, losses or painful experiences we have been through, as well as to understand ourselves better.

My therapeutic training is Relational Integrative Therapy. This means I integrate several approaches to therapy, including exploring life experiences and relationships and how they impact on how we feel about ourselves and others, supporting clients with trauma (from childhood or adulthood), and supporting clients in their search for meaning and well-being.
