Run us through the different stages in the loft conversion process - what’s involved?
“A loft conversion is completed in a few key stages. First, we assess the space and design a layout that suits your needs. We then handle any planning and ensure everything meets building regulations.
Next comes the main structural work, including strengthening the floor and adjusting the roof if needed. We install roof windows or dormers for light and space, followed by electrics and plumbing (first fix).
The space is then insulated and plastered, before moving on to the final stage—fitting stairs, doors, lighting, and finishes.
