Initial clearing out, Insulation and structural floor installed. Fit new high u value rated window or door the plaster finish.
How can someone tell if their loft is suitable for conversion?
Head height is a major concern, habitable spaces need more though out uses of space and must meet regulations, non habitable spaces are storage spaces and do not need to meet as many regulations regarding access and heights etc.
Run us through the different stages in the loft conversion process - what’s involved?
Initial clearing out. Reinforce all structures and install steel beams if required the proceed to fit windows insulate and plaster slab finishing in skim and second fix carpentry fit out.
How long have you been in business?
I am a carpenter with 15 plus years experience within private and commercial works. My business partner is a block layer and plasterer for 18 plus years. With this scenario of both employees/directors are working employees we cover alot of everyday requirements with the exception of electrical and plumbing works.
What guarantee does your work come with?
This really depends on the project at hand. All projects differ whether it's just a small job where we don't supply materials or a major job where we supply all materials, there would be too many variables to consider so each project differs.
