I recently got my solar system installed by Future Power in Limerick. I couldn't be happier with the full process, the quote from Scott to the finished and working system. The roofers and electrican teams were a pleasure to deal with, very polite and friendly. Luke and Lewis in the office handled all the paperwork, etc, needed for the whole process including the grant. I had my solar panels installed yesterday, from the initial contact to survey my home the entire team could not have been more helpful. Initially I was looking at 10 panels and in the day the installation team managed to fit 12 solar panels. They installed them in such a way I can add a further 3 panels in the future. The electricians also were great to work with, there was no bother and they were so professional and friendly. I was interested in installing solar panels but didn't know much about them or what to expect. I contacted Future Power (I picked them because they were based in Limerick and guessed they'd be more responsive than a business trying to cover the whole of Ireland). Lewis came and laid everything out clearly and in detail to me including when the job would be done, how long it would take, how to arrange the new BER certificate, and when I might expect the SEAI grant to come through. Everything worked out seamlessly. You couldn't have met a nicer bunch than Ciaran and his team who arrived on the day of installation and completed it all in great good humor. As soon as it was up I spent months tracking how much free electricity I was getting. The panels were put in in September 2023 from then until August 2024 I spent no money on electricity bills and was 142 euro in credit at that stage. For the previous year August 2022 until September 2023 my ESB bill came to 630 euro (there was credit of 450 euro in each year also from the government and electric Ireland). My roof was unable to take south facing panels so they are on an east-west orientation. Anyone able to avail of a south facing orientation will get a lot more electricity than I do. At this stage I'm happy to let the panels work away, nothing to be done on my part and it gives a lift to my heart every time we have a bright day knowing they're doing their job in reducing my electricity bills and will continue to do so for many years to come. Yes, we offer several of our services online and remotely to make the process as convenient as possible. We can provide virtual consultations, remote system design, and detailed quotes via video call or email. We also handle most paperwork for SEAI grants and planning online, keeping the process smooth and hassle-free. But we do offer a free site survey.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
To keep our customers safe during Covid-19, we implemented a range of safety measures in line with public health guidelines. These included contactless consultations, remote quotes, and minimizing in-person interactions wherever possible. When site visits or installations were required, our team followed strict safety protocols—wearing masks, using hand sanitizer, maintaining social distancing, and sanitizing tools and surfaces regularly. The health and safety of our customers and staff has always been our top priority.
