Had Chris out to look at an issue with the power supply to the house.
Chris spent ~30 minutes looking into the fault before concluding that the house's wiring was unsafe and needs a full rewire to the tune of €11,000.
This insight from Chris cost me €150.
I had another electrician call out later that day who fixed the fault in about 90 minutes. He felt that the wiring, while dated, is not critical. For context, this house is a 1950s build.
Certainly felt like Chris was looking to upsell and didn't want to spend time figuring out the issue.

Chris from Elemental Electrical, responded to my request for an electrician almost immediately. We discussed the work needed, ie replacing light switch, ceiling light fittings and replacing some LED lights.
He arrived on time on the day arranged and I found him to be pleasant and courteous. He worked quickly and efficiently and tidied up after himself when he’d finished.
I have no hesitation in giving him top marks and I highly recommend him.
