Edward was really great in helping us work out what we wanted to do with the flooring. He worked quickly and with great attention to detail. Our floors weren’t well leveled, but he got a great finish nonetheless. He had to shave several doors, for which he does charge a little extra but again, he did a great job and it was worth it 100%.

I’ve thought basically 6 months about leaving this review but I’ve decided I need to because the more we find parts of the work we paid for half done and damaged it’s so disappointing. I’d like to state we did request a refund for the labour for the doors and skirting and Edward did refund us. With that said he destroyed 3 solid oak doors that we paid good money for that was not reimbursed by Eduard so realistically with new doors and to get someone to fix all the work eduard done it would cost us more than what we where refunded. We asked him back 2/3 to fix things and he never really fixed them. He took money for a job he didn’t complete and destroyed skirting boards, doors and the timber frames. He also put silicone to fill in skirting around the pipe work which over time would have eroded our pipes had we not of seen. He glues the skirting board on and levelled nothing. He done our floors also which are fine due to our floor being unlevelled but we paid Eduard to level the floors but many of our floors boards are popping up, we asked Edward to fix these but he’d come and not really rectify the job. We went with Eduard and for basic things to finish a job we felt he added a cost for like just putting a beading for us we paid 20€ extra which didn’t make sense. As we discussed all the options from the beginning and all the steps were explained to you with all the downsides of unlevel surfaces, old walls, frames and croocked structure of walls.. ecc.. we agreed to go ahead The doors we installed handles , and then you wanted a new pair of closers that didnt match the old holes , and this was explained to you as well before modifying things, and we refunded ALL the amount , when you had concerns and was not happy, and we wanted to understand you and your situation, moving in a new house and having a baby at the same time. We did all we could to help and understand your part. Thank you for understanding our part too.

Responsive and efficient, great attitude and even better price. Would defo recommend Eduard & Ben for General Carpentry.

Eduard did a great job removing our old flooring and installing a lovely new laminate. He also installed our new driveway gate, finding a clever way to make it fit when the hinges were too big. Eduard did the job quickly and quite well. But his communication is poor and now when the job is finished he refuses to return messages at all, when I'm asking for a receipt. Not great people skills. I wouldn't hire him again mostly because of this. More...

Eduard was fantastic, and we couldn’t be happier with the job he did. Our floor and skirting was fitted perfectly, and Eduard advised us on any more materials we may need in advance to starting the job. We would highly recommend him.
