Regarding the phone call, the hour was spent reviewing Scott's accounting software, as requested by Scott, to understand the scope of work. The quote I provided was for ongoing work, and during our conversation, I explained that any prior period work would be billed separately, which is a common practice. Scott disagreed, and after this discussion, he left a review that I believe is misleading and unfair. I would also like to clarify that I am a qualified Chartered Accountant, a member of the ACCA, with over 11 years of experience. Due to a technical issue with the ACCA website, my profile was temporarily unavailable, but I provided Scott with my Practicing Certificate from ACCA, which clearly confirms my status as a qualified Accountant. Ltd company - CRO, RBO and Revenue obligations
As the director of a Ltd company, there are certain obligations with both the CRO (Companies Registration Office) and Revenue that you must be aware of:
CRO Obligations:
✔️Annual Return: Your Ltd company is required to file an annual return with the CRO, which provides up-to-date details about your company, including directors and shareholders.
✔️Financial Statements: You must submit your company’s financial statements (audited if necessary) along with your annual return.
✔️Change of Details: Any changes to the company's structure, directors, or registered office must be filed with the CRO.
Revenue Obligations:
✔️Corporation Tax: Ltd companies are required to file an annual Corporation Tax return (Form CT1) with Revenue.
✔️VAT Returns
✔️Payroll
Both CRO and Revenue filings are time-sensitive, and failure to meet deadlines can result in fines, penalties, or even the dissolution of the company.
