What makes a great website?
Strong communication with between customer and designer before the project starts. Having a clear idea of how you want the website to look. It may be cliche but less is more! Overcrowding a website can leave a potential customer/client confused. Each page should be clear and gets your point across quickly. Beautiful clear images help the aesthetics and impress your potential clients.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
Questions in relation to design would be along the lines of "Can you show me some samples of designs and colours you like". "Do you have a design budget?"
Questions in relation to printing, "what size flyer?", "how many pages in your brochure", "do you already have a design".
Questions for Website... well this is a long list! But some of the first ones: "Do you have a current website?", "Have you already purchased a Domain Name?", "What do you want the customer to get from your website?", and so much more!
What information do you need from a client before you start work?
We need to know things like name of the business, contact details, content for your project, and an agreement on a quote.
What sorts of printing projects do you usually cater for?
Another long list! Projects for small start ups, business cards, comp slips, flyers, staff tshirts. Projects for large companies such as brochures, folders, training manuals, exhibition stands, pop up banners, outdoor signage etc. Projects for individuals, poster printing, books, tshirts, mugs etc. Printing of college and university thesis, printing for school projects. The list is endless so do be sure to ask!
Describe your creative process.
We begin by finding out as much as we can from you, the customer/client. The more we know about your business and idea, the better we can shape your project. Even if you are completely stumped at the beginning, something as simple as a colour can get us started, but we do encourage you to have an idea of a stye in mind as the world is filled with so many! We then gather this info and get a quote together. Once all that happens, then the work begins. Our designers work to bring your idea to life. They use your content and combine it with your colours and style preferences to get you your end product.
What do you love most about your job?
Seeing people's faces when what started as a small idea in their head is brought to life using our design print services.
Why should our clients choose you?
We have a personal touch, it is not just about taking your idea and making it happen, we like to build on that and hopefully give you something better than you initially thought. We like to do a thorough job and aim to make it a convenient process for you too! Sometimes we might ask a lot of questions, but this gives us a better understanding of you and your business and how we can best help you!
