Absolutely amazing hotel. We stayed in the address part of the hotel. From the moment we walked in the hotel we were treated like royalty. couldnt of done any more for us. From checking in our bags early so we could go out and enjoy Dublin before checking in time, to leaving the gorgeous little complementary chocolates in the room and even going to the trouble of printing out our boarding passes for us. As soon as we walked into the room we both went WOW, beautiful room, extremely clean and hotel was also spotless. Beds were very comfortable, WiFi in rooms, lots of gadgets for lighting and curtains, large tv. Reccomend booking breakfast great food loads of choice, we had food in all their restaurants and was always good quality and tastey and staff we lovely too. Well situated in Dublin and buses and trams literally down the road too for those not into walking around Dublin. Can't thank you enough to all the staff for making trip so amazing. Thank you. x More...

The Northstar is a good place to stay, good breakfast, clean rooms. Parking sux! 1/2 mile away, no shuttle, no validation, 10 euros a day! Their dinner menu is ok portions are by comparison small to other places we had dinner, just missed that home made taste. Only hotel we had dinner at. More...

We went for mum's 80th, lovely hotel, The Cookhouse was amazing making mum's birthday dinner extra special. we had a few problems with malfunctioning key cards on 2 days, sorted quickly. The only thing I hated were the little lights under the bed cabinets, switching on and off at the slightest movement, very annoying for a light sleeper! But all in all fabulous time had More...

Would definitely recommend. Lovely room, great location to local attractions and tourist hot spots. We had a problem with our shower and a member of the reception team fixed it himself which was very impressive. Only issue was how loud the noise from the corridor was in the room we had but everything else was very positive Great transport links and walking distance to many areas Would definitely return if in Dublin. It’s looks like a beautiful hotel and what I can’t understand it’s a 4 star and the bar staff are wearing jeans and one of the staff his jeans are dragging on the floor and they are raveling at the ends and staff member poked my friend where he should have said excuse me while standing on the bar of his stool to put candles on the above rack.

Went to Dublin for concerts ELO - Steve Miller Band and John Fogerty! at the 3Arena and stayed at the North Star Hotel for 4 nights. The staff were wonderful, the location is good for whoever is attending concerts at the 3Arena concert hall and it's in walking distance to the city centre, malls and shops. The room was clean, great breakfast the coffee could have been better, but the coffee in my room was very good :)I sure hope I will go back to Dublin and when I do I know where to stay. The North Star Hotel is recommended. More...

Have had a lovely 2 night stay at North Star Hotel. Very friendly welcome from reception staff & delighted with our very spacious room on the 6th floor with fresh water, coffee machine, fridge & air conditioning. Beds lovely & comfortable ensuring a good nights sleep. Delicious buffet breakfast with great variety of cereals, breads, cooked breakfast, pancakes, pastries fruit & cheeses. Staff all very friendly & helpful. It was my daughters birthday & delivered to the room was a lovely card & chocolates which was a really nice gesture & she was delighted. The hotel is really handy to the train station & to O’Connell Street & main shopping area (only a 5-10 minute walk) I highly recommend a stay here and will definitely be back More...

Stayed here with Translink 2 night stay. The reception staff couldn’t have been more pleasant and willing to help considering our keycard stopped working a couple of times & had to be reprogrammed. The room was lovely with switches that control the lights but it is trial and error to see what switch controls which lights. The room came with a free large glass bottle of water, a fridge and a coffee machine with pods and also tea bags but as I don’t drink either hot chocolate would have been appreciated. The tv was good but doesn’t move so if you are sitting at the small table you can’t really see it and a tv channel guide would be useful and it can be trial and error to turn the tv on if you not tech savvy. Breakfast was a buffet with a good selection of cereals, pastries, fruit, hot food, bread for toasting, pancake maker, different syrups, jams and juices. When we had breakfast the pasteries had ran out and when asked staff brought fresh pasteries promptly. Even though we booked through a deal we were treated the same as any other guest. The hotel is close to the train station with a 5-10 minute walk to the main shopping area but dispite being close to the train station I found it quiet and less noisy than then main city centre. When my mum sneakingly mentioned that it was my birthday they sent me a small box of chocolates and a card which I thought was nice. Would definitely stay again More...
