My husband and I spent a fabulous night here celebrating our 40th Wedding Anniversary! We arrived late but our host was so accommodating! The room was beautifully decorated with rose petals and of course Champagne and candles! Our host quickly made dinner reservations for us, and we had a great evening. The room was perfect with a view of the river and an enormous spa bath for two! Everything was beautifully decorated. Ben er in 2018 ook geweest maar toen was het een prachtig mooi landhuis met enkele kamers, zwembad, mooie tuin en goed ontbijt. Inmiddels is er een geheel nieuwe accommodaties gebouwd maar de charme van het landhuis is gebleven. Alle nieuwe appartementen zijn prachtig uitgerust gelegen aan het nieuwe zwembad. The Lodge was right on the bank of the Orange river, with a beautiful view. The breakfast was very good and the Staff was excellent! The rooms were very clean.

We stayed here for 2 days over Christmas. It was a very nice stay with clean rooms, great breakfast and attentive staff. The room we stayed in was a bit small and the tv is mounted on an awkward place. It makes it a bit difficult to watch tv. But we didn't book the room for the tv, we booked it for the awsome bathroom . And it did not disappoint. The staff was very friendly and helpful. For the owner, I would like to mention that there is a small step in the dining room that is not visible and there is no warnings posted. Should someone hurt themselves there, you can be liable for injuries. I suggest a warning sign and a reflector tape or rubber strip. More...

Such a great place to stay with breathtaking views of the Orange River. Needed help with many things and within the blink of an eye a sweet well spoken lady by the name of Rose helped me and exceeded my expectations of service. The guesthouse is centrally located in Upington. We stayed in the honeymoon suite which was exquisite. The bathroom was bigger than the bedroom, with an enormous Jacuzzi tub. Very romantic with a good bed and soft bedding. The pillows were very firm. The room offers coffee facilities and a bar fridge. We had an excellent overnight stay at Moonriver Guest House. Our room was fantastic and incredibly comfortable. It was an exceptionally cold night even for Upington and our room was equipped with enough blankets for us not to be cold.
