I love this place especially the rooms with a kitchenette. But the restaurant staff were very uncurteous and my dietary requirements were not accommodated even thought I had communicated them months before visiting the place. I was not comfortable with the fact my friend had to speak for in order for me to be assisted to a point of losing my appetite.This is a place I do not see myself visiting again, unless I have no option. Lovely day at a pretty windy Devonvale. Course in super condition, well manicured and the greens were great. Terrific breakfast buffet for only R50 and the upstairs balcony was a lovely place to sit and have a quick beer after the round! Will defs be back!!

We celebrated our twin daughters birthday with a breakfast at Devonvale on Saturday and what a treat this was! I thought it was a bit pricey for a breakfast, but once i saw the beautiful spread laid out with the stunning surroundings it made the price fade into oblivion! Everything was superb. We were a party of 15 and the waiters went out of their way to make the morning memorable and celebratory. We ended up in the gardens later and simply enjoyed the beautiful outdoors and each other. Fuimos a este hotel para conocer la zona y hacer un recorrido de bodegas de vino...el hotel bastante bien y limpio!!! Tiene un verde espectacular y vistas maravillosas, ni que hablar de la tranquilidad que se tiene. Para los amantes del golf es espectacular. Loved the special touches like a bottle of wine in the room. Staff were very helpful trying to print boarding passes. Wish ew had stayed longer to enjoy the hotel but we were in/out for a wedding.

The hotel is really geared for business and conference use and is in real need of a makeover with the rooms being very tired and low rent. We asked for room service one evening but was told it wasn't available as they had a conference they were catering for, but could send someone up the road to the petrol station to get us something!! To be fare they did provide us with a burger and chips from the kitchen in the end, but this gives you an idea..!!! More...

We enjoyed lovely weekend at Devonvale when attending wedding in area. Rooms were tastefully decorated spacious and bathroom had both shower and bath.
