good location to central Dublin,shopping,restaurants etc. breakfast not very nice,rooms clean but,found beds uncomfortable. shower very big and spacious and,water constantly hot. if your looking for entertainment in the hotel,forget it,but remember you are in Dublin and there are plenty of bars ,nightclubs and restaurants around. my only complaints are,we had a family room,only 2 cups but minor complaint. beds uncomfortable More...

Stayed here for two nights 6th and 7th of December, third time staying now and will definitely stay again when in Cork. Ate in the hotel bar for the first time, excellent food despite having a limited menu on the night (restaurant was booked out so must make a reservation next time). The fishcake starter was phenomenal, a meal in itself. The main, turkey and ham, was a little small in comparison but not a dealbreaker as was stuffed from the starter. Stayed in South mall maldron in cork I have to say it was the best hotel I have ever stayed in. The hotel is spotless. The staff are great very helpful. The food is gorgeous great value 3 course for €25. The beds are so comfortable I highly recommend this hotel I recommend it so much that I have already booked to stay again another night. the staff are lovely here, we would stay here quite often. the hotel is central and very comfortable. The only thing that's let's it down is the restaurant, the evening meals do t change and to be honest the food is not great.
