Karen is a brilliant yoga teacher. Personally I feel yoga has many different aspects, e.g. physical, mental, spiritual, aesthetic etc. Karen brings meaning and life to all these aspects. Her knowledge and application of that knowledge makes the class fun, engaging, relaxing yet physically challenging and progressive. She is highly qualified and has experience practicing in interesting places like Nepal. She has a great understating of the practice its origins and its application and health benefits which she clearly imparts to her class.She explains and demonstrates each move and posture with patience and depth. She allows each of us to work with our own bodies and I never feel like I am doing it incorrectly. Yet she will assist in getting into a posture in a very non judgmental way. I am attending her class for almost a year and I feel I have learned many postures and continue to progress and become more flexible weekly. I currently only attend one class weekly but as the winter approaches and my motivation to become more fit, flexible and relaxed deepens, I hope to fit in at least one if not two more classes weekly. Karen's class has helped my slow my busy mind and body and connect with a quiet yet restorative energy. I have learned about the benefits and techniques of slowing the breath and relaxing and meditating. While her class is wonderful with never two the same I always look forward to the relaxation and meditation session at the end. I would highly recommend Karen as a teacher and I am excited about continuing, developing and improving my practice under her very professional guidance. More...

Karen is an incredible teacher, her knowledge of yoga and movement enables clients to understand, appreciate and move with confidence. Yoga is so much more than I had initially anticipated. Karen educates clients to understand the breath and how this enables better movement in the body. Karen is just brilliant! I started yoga with her after moving back to Ballina, as I suffer from back and neck issues and like to keep up either yoga or pilates. She is a brilliant teacher and is so aware of all her students, and any injuries they may have. She will give a nod to you, or say something to you during a class if you need to be extra mindful of certain movements. I went to class last night in a bit of pain after two days of neck issues, with a sore and tight neck and shoulder, and woke this morning much looser and with a much better range of movement in my neck. I also sleep like a log the night after her class. I would highly recommend her! More...

I can highly recommend Karen's yoga class. She really focuses on getting the movement right in time to the breathe. She clearly talks you through the moves and corrects when needed, which is so important. I can feel myself getting stronger. She finishes with a lovely calming relaxation and meditation. I recently joined Karen’s yoga classes and I am delighted I did. Her classes are challenging and energising. She takes the time to explain poses and fix posture which I personally really appreciate. Attended a yoga workshop recently on how to help with stress and anxiety with Karen. It was a wonderful Afternoon which I felt very informative and relaxing. Started yoga with Karen 5 weeks ago and am really loving it. Karen includes a variety of moves and patterns that release the bodies energy and loosen muscles and joints- as the weeks go by I notice I am standing and moving more freely and my body feels stronger. I also find the Saturday morning session is ideal to shake off the stresses of the week and unwind. Really love the meditation afterwards. Just started another six week course with Karen. After the long Christmas break and slow start to the year our entire group was delighted to hear Karen was coming back to us. Having attended other yoga classes both here and in the UK over the years I can safely say that Karen is the most professional and knowledgeable tutor I have ever met.
