Q&As

Our company’s ambition has always been to see that each job is done correctly the first time and to guarantee top quality service on every project we take on.

Genius Paving and Walls is a paving company situated in CAPE TOWN. From day one, our company has offered quality brick paving at competitive prices.

Our paving can be installed in any type of moderate weather conditions, which helps to keep time and installation costs within budget. It is a reasonably fast and easy process, and can be walked or driven on as soon as the installation procedure is complete

Services

If you are on a tight budget, the cheapest way of paving is with broken half brick pavers. The most popular of these is the Wheatstone paver. The alternatives are Rustic Blend, De Hoop, and Hard Red ROK. These are clay pavers that have cracked during the time they were baked in the kiln (we don't like to use building half bricks as they are not strong enough for walls ). Instead of disposing of them, a specially appointed contractor gets his team to sort out the different types & shades of broken bricks (which didn't break exactly in half but came out of the kiln in different sizes). There are two popular half brick paving patterns to use: circles (also known as wagon wheels) or fans as used in the streets of some European towns.

SmartStone cobblestones are smaller paving blocks, designed to carry both pedestrian and vehicular traffic. They are not restricted to driveway paving, but are suitable for various applications, including around buildings, along walkways, in courtyards, as garden edging, around pools and as accentuation points in urban designs.SmartStone cobbles are renowned for their engineered precision, durability and aesthetic appeal. The beauty of SmartStone cobbles lies in their unique surface textures and shapes and the design possibilities these present. Furthermore, rougher surface textures might be a practical solution for paving on steep driveways, for instance.

Our cobbles allow you to design beautiful outdoor living spaces with much more depth than ordinary paving bricks. Many of our products have been engineered to install in combination with one another and these contrasting effects add further interest.SmartStone cobblestones have gained popularity across southern Africa due to their ability to complement the architectural design of your home.
