I'm so happy with the service I got from these guys! I had a horrible/rotting old fence in my yard that I noticed on the first visit when I was house shopping. As a new homeowner it was definitely on my quick to do list. I was recommended Gazo and Pierre Fencing by a friend and must say they did an amazing job! The service was bilingual, the workers were polite and friendly, they even let my 7 yr old son "help" them in the destruction process. He felt special, he could ask whatever questions he wanted and got to learn a little bit about the process. My neighbours are now all envious of my gorgeous fence!

For the last year or so, I saw a few houses in my areas having about 13- years-old roofs started getting new ones! Earlier this year I found a few flown shingles from mine, but did not pay any further attention. Came August a neighbor opposite to mine pointed my problems, however minor with a few missing shingles, explained his to be done later in the month. Thus I am serious about this and got 3 quotes, also asking if I can get by with only repairing the problem area. Apparently roofers are busy enough, they all recommended replacement. From my own assessment, roofs done in my years, 1999 all have mushroom vents, as called by roofers, vice newer (maximum) vents in houses build in the late 2005's. Thus they all seemed under-vented, or under designed to remove the heat builded up in the attic. You can open up your attic in a sunshine afternoon to verify indeed it is hotter than inside my car in summer days. This couples with the reasons provided by Mark, that shingles in my time were notoriously bad due to recycled materials that they age prematurely, 14 years old that needs new roof is not out of the ordinary. Long story short about what I like this company:
- well organized for an efficient and professionally installation;
- the number of underlayments are done as advertized;
- drip edges installed throughout;
- bigger crew and well coordinated ensure a timely done jog.
- Mark took the time to explain about the job, the work involved, process, etc and answered all my questions.That said, the owner still had to finish up something assumed to be completed by the crew: cleaning up of the debris, nails collected in the eavestroughing. But then he created such a positive impression that he took care of such detail. Overall I am happy with the workmanship and the crew!

I would highly recommend Magnum roofing for your next roof.
I got quotes from lots of companies and Magnum was competitive with the others. So why did I choose Magnum, because his information package was complete with all the information I needed to feel confident that the product they would use would be the best. I had an asphalt shingle roof that like many people out there, only lasted 10 years of the 25 it was supposed to. I researched Metal, Aluminum and rubber roofing at the home show, but was not convinced. Magnum offered Timberline by Gaf. So I compared all the quotes that were using GAF, and Magnum again came out on top for confidence that I was going to get the job they promised. Now that the job is done, and it looks FANTASTIC I might add, Gaf is the first company that has ever sent me my registration of the warranty. I didn't have to send anything. Maybe that was Magnum again doing a good job. Either way, you won't go wrong putting your trust in this company and choosing them to do your next roof. Confidence is what i needed. That's what I got, and a great looking roof. Thanks Steven.

My roof leaked for 2 years and 4 different companies came out to "fix" my roof with no luck. I was left with huge bills and a roof that still leaked. My brother recommended that I use Central City Roofing because he saw their great reviews so I called them up. I was greeted by the owner and he came by the same day to check out my roof. He inspected the inside of my attic to see what he could see, worked for about an hour on the roof, then came down to tell me the work was completed. He explained to me the work that he did and provided pictures for me to see, and I felt very assured that my roof was fixed. The next day we had a rain storm and voilà! No more leak!!!! I'm so grateful and happy now.

What does a Roof Repair professional do?
Roofers offer a whole host of services and work on either flat or pitched (sloped) roofs and undertake the following types of repairs:
Slating and tiling, using traditional or synthetic slates or roof tiles, on sloped roofs.
Fitting felt sheets or spreading a waterproof bitumen layer (known as built-up felt roofing) on flat roofs.
Removing or repairing broken tiles or slates (stripping).
Checking the roof timbers are sound.
Measuring and cutting materials to the correct size and shape.
Recovering the roof by laying strips of felt onto timbers then refitting rows of tiles or slates.
Cutting and fitting lead flashings around chimney stacks and adjoining walls.
Sealing roof joints with mortar, for example on ridges and hips, to make them watertight.
Specialist roofing techniques such as leadwork, which involves covering a roof using lead rolls often seen on churches.
Thatching where you use natural materials to cover a roof.
What should I consider before hiring a Roofing company?
It is a good idea to check these aspects before hiring a roofing company:
Real address - It is important to ask a contractor for a genuine address and check whether they have permanent staff members.
Multiple quotations - It is recommended to obtain at least three quotations from multiple contractors. Consider each quotation along with other things on your criteria such as communication, professionalism, insurance, reviews and more.
References - Ask the firm for references and photos of their finished work. Most contractors include portfolios on their websites. Ask the contractor for a list of references from clients they have worked with in the past and find out if they have been satisfied with the roofer’s workmanship.
Insurance - Make sure your roofer is licensed, offer contracts and have undergone formal training. Insurance does not only protect contractors from workplace injuries but also you as a homeowner. This means that if a roofer gets injured while working on your roof, their company will be the one to provide compensation and not you.
Reviews - Check out reviews of the company online and in particular pay attention to how a roofer handles negative complaints.
Experience - Find a contractor that has worked in the industry for several years and has performed yearly maintenance work on roofs they have previously installed.
Roofing warranty - One of the most important things you need to know is whether a prospective contractor provides a warranty. There are two separate warranties that should accompany a roofing installation: Workmanship warranty and manufacturer warranty. A workmanship warranty covers against installation mistakes. On the other hand, a manufacturer warranty covers against defects on a roofing material itself such as a roofing shingle.
Safety - Roofers must take precautions to prevent falling. Many roofers will be happy to carry out minor repairs to a roof using a ladder and a harness whereas others require scaffolding. Whether or not your roofing work requires scaffolding really depends on the nature of the job. If there is any risk of danger to a roofer and a ladder is not enough to guarantee safety, then scaffolding may be advised in line with health and safety regulations.
How do I check Roofer’s credentials?
You could look for roofers with a Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Roofing Occupations or Level 2 Diploma in Roof Slating and Tiling.
Before you choose a roofer, you could read testimonials and read details of their services on their website.
You could also look at their profile page on Bark and check out their roofing reviews from past customers too. This might also help you get some ideas for the type of repairs you want to book.
