Steve Holt is a JUNO-nominated musician and one of Canada’s top jazz pianists. He is McGill University’s first-ever Bachelor of Music majoring in Jazz performance, and he studied piano in NYC with world-renowned pianist Kenny Barron. His debut album was nominated for a JUNO.

What do you love most about your job?
I have been performing music my whole life, and over the years I have been fortunate to perform with some of the greatest jazz legends of the time. I enjoy helping students to achieve their goals and to enjoy playing.
What inspired you to start your own business?
As a graduate of McGill University’s Faculty of Music, and a former McGill instructor, I am happy to offer piano lessons for students of jazz, blues, and basic piano.
Why should our clients choose you?
FOR PIANO STUDENTS - I bring my entire life of performing music to the lesson. I offer an approach to learning that is enjoyable, as well as effective. Learning should be a positive experience.

Jazz Piano Lessons
I offer private piano lessons for jazz improvisation.
Background: I have a Bachelor of Music with a major in Jazz Performance from McGill University, where I was on staff as an instructor.
