I am sharing my experience to help others make informed decisions. I am not sure how the positive reviews for Salman Ellahi were posted, but based on my experience, they did not reflect reality. Unfortunately, I became one of the victims of relying on those reviews.

I approached Mr. Ellahi for my garage conversion project and paid the full amount of $1,950 upfront. After the City of Toronto identified several violations on my property—issues created by the previous owner without City approval—Mr. Ellahi stopped responding to my calls and messages. Most of the time, I received replies stating he was “out of town” or “in meetings.” Last week, after calling twice, he answered my third call and began yelling and shouting at me without any reason, as if I was asking him for money rather than requesting support for a project I already paid for.

I strongly advise anyone considering his services to think carefully. He does not demonstrate the expertise required to handle complex or unexpected issues. I have since consulted a BCIN‑licensed designer, who identified multiple flaws and non‑compliant elements in the drawings provided by Mr. Ellahi. As a result, my payment of $1,950 has been wasted.

Please seek a qualified, licensed, and professional designer—someone who respects clients, communicates properly, and understands their responsibilities before and after receiving payment. This is my honest review based on my personal experience.
