Hiring a month-of coordinator was something we went back and forth on, but looking back, having Jessica in our corner was one of the best decisions we made throughout our entire wedding planning process. When we first reached out, we were already realizing just how much there was to manage and how many little details go into actually making a wedding day happen. Within minutes of putting out a message looking for a month-of coordinator, Jessica called us. From that very first conversation, we knew we had found someone who understood exactly what we needed.Jessica immediately started pointing out things we hadn't even thought about - items that needed to make it to the venue, personalized details that needed to be packed, timelines, logistics, and all of the behind-the-scenes things that you don't necessarily know to think about when you're planning your own wedding. It was such a relief to have someone with experience who could look at everything and know exactly what questions to ask.We have to admit, we probably made her job a little easier than she expected. 😂 As a Type-A groom marrying a Type-A bride, there were binders, spreadsheets, books, lists, timelines, and probably enough documentation to qualify as a small government operation. But what we appreciated so much about Jessica was that she never tried to reinvent what we had already put together. She took everything we had planned, understood it, and was endlessly willing to execute it.And then came the moments when things didn't go exactly according to plan - because, as every couple learns, something inevitably will.Jessica was incredible at adjusting on the fly. Throughout the entire month leading up to the wedding, and especially on the wedding day itself, she remained calm, collected, professional, and completely in control. Any question, hiccup, change, or unexpected situation that came up was handled with ease. We never felt like we needed to panic because we knew Jessica was already figuring it out.That was one of the biggest gifts she gave us: peace of mind. That in itself was priceless.Whether it was something with a vendor, a decor concern, a logistical detail, or simply something we were overthinking, Jessica was there. She was responsive, reassuring, and always willing to help us work through whatever came up. We knew we had someone in our corner who understood our wedding and genuinely cared about making it all come together.And on the wedding day, that became even more important. We had spent so much time planning and organizing every detail, and Jessica took all of that information and actually made it happen. She knew what needed to happen, when it needed to happen, and what needed to be adjusted when things changed - all while remaining completely composed.We didn't have to worry about what was happening behind the scenes. We got to be present, enjoy our wedding, and trust that the details we had spent so much time planning were being taken care of.If you're debating whether or not you need a month-of coordinator, hire Jessica. Even if you're organized, even if you have everything planned, even if you have binders and spreadsheets and colour-coded timelines - having someone like Jessica there to execute it all, anticipate problems, and calmly handle whatever comes your way is invaluable.Jessica, thank you for jumping in when you did, for embracing our slightly excessive amount of planning, and for being so incredibly willing to execute everything we had envisioned. Charity and Shar were beyond professional. I oriented them to the event and they seamlessly went about their day. The guests and the couple of the day raved about how the two Pink staff met everyone’s needs. The event was a success and the two Pink staff were a big part of this.
