We recently had our kitchen cabinets refinished by Oriah Contracting and the whole experience was great.Before they started the cabinets were in pretty rough shape. They were from the 90s, had stains, peeling wood, damage, and someone had tried staining over parts of them before so everything looked mismatched and messy.During our renovation we worked with a lot of different contractors for bathrooms, blinds, showers, and other projects, and one thing I appreciated was how detailed and thorough Alex was. He took the time to do a full assessment, explained the entire process, timelines, expectations, and answered basically every question before the project even started.The team was also super organized while working. They sealed everything off carefully with plastic and kept the space really clean and contained which made the disruption surprisingly minimal considering they were completely refinishing the kitchen cabinets. They also got everything done in five days Monday through Friday to get 25 total cabinet doors done across a kitchen and two bathrooms.The final result turned out awesome. If you do get Oriah Contracting to do your cabinets I would highly recommend the Renner stuff too as the hardness of the finish is quite impressive. More...

I had a good experience with Oriah and I am grateful that they painted the most hideous red cabinets in the world! The reason I gave 4 stars is because there was a lack of communication around clearing cupboards and the access to the kitchen, my initial conversation during the quote/rundown of process versus day of was different leaving my house in absolute chaos as everything was ripped from the cupboards on the first day, I obviously would have cleared them properly the night before in an organized fashion. Additionally, I was told I would have cooking access to my kitchen in the evening, there was absolutely no function in the kitchen besides the sink,.. very expensive eating out week, I would have prepped differently if it was communicated accurately. We were very impressed and pleased with the fantastic and dependable services from Oriah. We recently had some work done on the fascia boards of our house and from the first helpful phone call with Alex to the last finishing touches from Nefi, the work was delivered as promised. Nefi was incredibly patient, professional, informative and a real pleasure to work with. Great experience working with Alex and the team. From the initial walkthrough for the quote, Alex was very professional and took the time to explain the process clearly. The follow up after the walkthrough was prompt, and they provided a detailed quote with three options (standard, intermediate, and premium), which made it easy for us to choose what best suited our needs. The pricing was reasonable and competitive, and it also came with a good warranty which gave us additional peace of mind. Once we decided to proceed, everything was easy. Would give 6 stars if I could. These guys know how to get a painting project done on time, and with great quality. Even though our project was just a very small wall, he still came out, took the time to carefully match the color with our exterior, and completed the job quickly and beautifully.
