This is a halal grocery store with fresh products, just like any other halal grocery store in the area. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and I've always had a good experience with their customer service. However, after visiting several times, I've noticed that their prices have become significantly higher, especially for meat, fresh vegetables, and some canned goods. The higher prices are the main reason I hesitate to shop here regularly.My advice to other shoppers is to compare prices with other stores before buying. was a member here for quite some time; nice equipment and Grace was awesome at the front desk! but the owner is almost pathologically unwilling to turn on the air conditioning in the summer. I saw it reach 85 degrees inside multiple times. his excuses ranged from "the AC is broken this week" (it wasn't ) to "some members want the doors open" (they didn't) to "it's only hot in the attic!" (there is no attic). anyway, it's $200 a month and even $20 a month gyms have air conditioning so save your money and go somewhere else! More...

Pains me to say this. Staff has always been great and professional, facilities are spotless, and machines and variety are top notch, but like the others have mentioned, the AC situation is unbearable. You cannot operate a gym with conditions like this. 84 degrees indoors to do heavy squats and lifting is unacceptable. We pay a heavy premium for a luxury gym and expect temperature to be comfortable. Nearly passed out today and had to cut my workout short. I’ve been a GymTonic member for 2 years now. Overall, I like the gym. They’ve added more squat racks which is helpful but I have to agree with the other poster on the downsides. 1) the dedicated free weight area with benches is limited. 3 adjustable benches and a 4th flat bench in that small area is not enough for the growing amount of members.2)more importantly, the ac is either not working or not on at portions of the day and it makes workouts miserable. Don’t get me wrong, I go in there to get a sweat going but the air flow is almost non-existent. I’ve seen the staff turn the ac on more often but it’s not very effective imo. Shout out to the lady usually working the desk on the weekend. She always makes a point of ensuring we know they’re trying to cool the place down. I love her.While I like the gym functionally, you pretty much have to plan on either working out at 5am when it’s bearable or suffer through the heat. Incredible gym - I love the converted warehouse space, which is bright and airy. The equipment is top of the line, abundant (multiple squat racks, dumbbell sets, etc), and well distributed across the space - they recently added a bunch more and the space is not overcrowded with equipment. There are two great turf areas, including a covered outdoor space that is really pleasant. The locker room is impeccable and the staff is very friendly. Also, Whole Foods is next door, which is very convenient for picking groceries up on the way out of the gym. It's a place apart in LA, highly recommend! More...

It’s a good gym overall — clean, maintained, and equipped with a solid range of machines, but there are a few areas that could be improved. First, temperature control is an issue. It often feels like the air conditioning is only turned on at the last possible moment. During a recent heat wave, the gym became uncomfortably warm to the point of feeling lightheaded, yet the AC was not running. Even on typical days, the AC is frequently off. While this may be due to the turf section gate being open, it’s difficult to justify given how much members pay. If we’re spending $200 for a “luxury gym,” the facility should reflect that level of comfort.Second, access to the turf area seems inconsistent. It appears to open and close without a clear or predictable schedule. If running the AC while the gate is open is a concern, it would be helpful to provide an alternative access solution rather than closing the space entirely, particularly since this area is heavily promoted.Lastly, some trainers tend to occupy multiple machines at once while working with clients. This can lead to longer wait times for others, which is challenging for members who are on a tighter schedule. More...
