Amazing, listens to you and your needs, amazing at pin-pointing the issue if you can't quite express it yourself, goes according to your own rythm, never forces anything if you aren't ready to talk about it. Honestly, this is the second time I have this kind of therapy, with some differences from my last therapist who worked with pressure point but it permits me to have more tools to my box and combine all of them together to make a whole new way of healing myself with the help of David. Working with David is so easy and comfortable. He is very kind and comforting. I have to say that at first I was a bit skeptical as his therapy is very different from what I was used to while I was doing psychotherapy. As the time passed by I started to believe in his ways. He uses tapping while hashing over what is bothering us. He always says what is on top of your bothering thoughts while tapping. As you continue to speak about feelings that are troubling you other issues surfaces in your subconscious. Depending on how deep your problem(s) are the longer it takes to cover everything. But at least in the interim he teaches you resources to be able to cope when you don't see him. I was admitted twice to the psych ward so after the 2nd time another client of his suggested that I see David. That was close to 2 years ago. Everyone tells me how different I am, how I have bloomed. I still have anxiety but much less. At least I can function. You should have seen me before working with David. He is a great listener and very compassionate. I would not hesitate to refer him. What do you love most about your job?
Seeing my clients take ownership of the resources and techniques they are learning. Healing the experiences and traumas which have been triggering their anger, PTSD, depression/anxiety etc, so they no longer need me. The whole point of my therapies is to empower clients to safely fly on their own, knowing I'm still there for them if they ever need me.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I was motivated by experiencing life altering personal benefits while undergoing these therapies for my severe early life traumas. Now I get to be a profoundly safe place for my own clients. Acting as their coachand safety net, allowing them to reprocess and heal hurts, traumas and limiting beliefs without re traumatizing themselves.
I have tremendous compassion for my clients, and they quickly learn that I will never be hurt, disappointed or offended by anything they say, do, or don't do in any given session. That I won't be judging them, because I'm deeply aware of a fundamental reality. That they were always doing the best they knew how at any given moment, given the childhood programs, resources and perspectives they had at the time. And that's all anyone can do.
