I hired this company in May to replace my roofing and gutters and paid a 50% deposit upfront. They originally promised the work would be completed by July 15, but after four unanswered phone calls, the date was suddenly postponed to September 19. On the first day of installation, the roofer tried to charge me an additional $2,200 for extra drip edge installation that was not required by code and was not included in the original agreement. After the work was supposedly completed, I inspected the house and found several serious issues: The fan venting was not connected. The waste pipe vent boot was loose and not secured with nails. The soffit was damaged. Numerous exposed nails throughout the roof. Several long pieces of material were poorly cut and left hanging. The gutter colour installed was mismatched, even though they were given the correct colour. I called and emailed the company repeatedly to fix their own mistakes, but received no response. The communication has been inferior from start to finish. Because of their poor workmanship and failure to follow proper building code, the estimated cost to repair their defects will be over $4,000 out of my pocket. More...

There was a bit of a wait since they're a smaller company, but it was well worth it. Our crew, Teegan and Alex, were just so incredibly polite, hardworking and conscientious we could hardly believe it. We've been anxious to reshingle because we've watched some really sub-par, questionable work being done by crews working in our neighborhood, but the two of them were like a well-oiled machine. They kept us up to speed on things, were careful while working and cleaned up after themselves so we'll you wouldn't be able to guess we'd just had our roof done.
