If I could rate this 0 stars and report this business I would. Melissa did not even know who she had sent to my house! I booked a three hour deep cleaning service for $50 an hour so totalling $300. I specifically asked for a range hood cleaning, including the filters and the two students they sent did not have any experience cleaning filters and had only had the job for about 6 months. When I saw this, almost an hour into the service, I texted Melissa and said that I was not comfortable with continuing the service and would like to inform the cleaner to stop since I did not see value in paying $50 an hour for a cleaning job that I could do better. What was incredibly funny was that when I raised the issue of her cleaners not knowing how to clean filters, She sent a video that the cleaners sent her of my mother, showing the cleaner how to clean the filter filters and try to pass it off as proof that her cleaners were cleaning the filters correctly. I had to tell her that it was my mom in the video. She didn’t even know who she had sent to my house. This is when I found out that her cleaners were outsourced from a third party. This was not disclosed before booking. While I reported the issues to Melissa before the service was completed (only an hour into the cleaning!) and before the charge was processed, Melissa still charged the full amount until I called her and waited hours after the service before she offered her solution: a $40 “goodwill” refund. This is glaringly disproportionate given the problems with the service, how much notice I gave her, and the gross lack of transparency with this business.
