I’ll be honest, I was a little skeptical going in. But within the first 10 minutes I was in shock. Both Bodie and Flea were a nightmare on the leash, walking them gave me so much anxiety and stress. After just 2 sessions the difference was night and day. I finally feel like I have leadership over them both, and all that stress is completely gone. If you have a reactive, nervous dog then Roger is the trainer for you. I quickly saw that Roger is incredible with dogs and they learn to trust him within minutes. The trust then gives them the confidence to do what commands he asks. Luna walked on lead without any reactivity to the dogs she met which, in one word, amazing. I have learnt to walk her with much more confidence and control which means we are both happier in being outside where she used to fear. Roger is an amazing teacher who obviously loves dogs and is a great guide to the many other facets of their lives. I had the privilege of 2 x awesome one-on-one session with Roger. His knowledge and dog leadership shows in his years of working with dogs. He has taken the time to talk to me about nutrition, mental stimulation, focussed leash correction and leadership towards my own dog. I feel confident to train my dog and have the assurance that Roger is a phone call away. Pack Whisper was recommended by our dog groomers. I have three lovely dogs that were almost impossible to walk not including attitude towards other dogs. Two sessions with Roger and our three puppies is possibly the best thing we’ve ever done. Roger has been the catalyst to helping me be a better dog mum. Whilst my partner has done a really great job of training our blue English Staffy, I realise that I have been the weak link in setting a good example for her and building that bond of trust and respect with her. Training her has been a point of contention between Hubby and I, and whilst he was a bit annoyed that I would hire a dog trainer considering his level of knowledge in training her is very good, in hindsight I feel we are both relieved to have hired Roger, as only a few hours of work has resulted in multiple big penny-drop moments for me, making me realise that I need to slow down, be patient, pay attention, and really give my silly little doggy the time she so deserves. We’ve done 2x sessions with Roger this week and his approach was great - very gentle, calm, positive and fun, for both me and my doggy. I am so used to getting frustrated at her, repeating commands over and over (it really winds me up), and what struck me was Roger’s mostly non-verbal way of communicating with her. Which made me realise that the art of bringing the best out of my dog is through body language, patience, and positive re-inforcement with “triple treats” (treats, praise and chest rubs). After being shown the training techniques and finally realising the ways I need to change my own behaviour, I’m feeling so much more confident in my ability to control my dog’s behaviour. I have thoroughly enjoyed working with you, and appreciate the way you really took the time to explain dog psychology to me. We booked in last night for a training session with the Pack Whisperer for early January. We've been at our whits end lately but rather than wait, Roger was amazing, he came out early today (giving up his own time on the weekend, above/beyond what we asked for) to help us out with guidance and tips. So appreciative of the effort. We are already feeling more confident in the changes we need to make to make the chaos that is Christmas with our dog (and three kids) easier. Highly, highly recommend!! Our biggest problem was unmanageable pulling on walks, after 2 sessions both dogs are walking beside me with a loose lead. Roger is very nice and caring and doesn’t make you feel silly at all. I’m very excited to continue on with our training! Thanks Roger!! More...

We are 3 days in since our 2 mornings of training and I already have a calmer more content puppy. If this is the result after 3 days, I cannot wait to see what he is like after a month of consistancy. Our walks are now relaxed with a completely loose leash. I have added in more enrichment and training exercises for him during the day as per Roger's recommendations and he finally is tired and content during the day. We were having a lot of problems with his nipping outside, but this has already decreased dramatically as he is finally respecting me and receiving the right amount of enrichment. Have absolutely loved our training with Roger. Nash is an 11 month old boxer who I really didn’t enjoy walking. Felt frustrated with his lack of impulse control too. Rogers taught me how to become the leader, Nash is already getting so good walking, listening & responding! We have just completed two fantastic sessions with Roger, The Pack Whisperer, and couldn’t be happier with the progress our 12 month old German Shepherd, Klaus, has made. Roger’s calm, confident approach instantly put both of us at ease. He really understands dog behaviour on a deep level and tailors his training to suit both the dog and the human. Filling out The Pack Whispers questioner on the website was one of the best decisions, From our first contact I felt at ease with Roger, he was passionate and understanding. With constant barking, and lead pulling we were at our wits end, we questioned is this our normal now, we knew we needed guidance as he started to show agression towards family members. Roger not only trains your your dog but re trains your own mishaps as an owner, What an incredible 2 day experience! Otis has a long way to go but can already see a marked difference in his behaviour our morning walks went from constant lead pulling, barking and sniffing every tree to enjoyable and leisurely walk, and the command training is highly effective, what a difference in only 2days. Had Roger come around and work with myself and my dog Walt over a two morning period. Walt is a extremely nervous dog and the hope is with some guidance and passed on knowledge from Roger we can build Walt's confidence over time and some of his behavioural issues will dissipate. We can’t thank Roger enough for his help with our 5 year old maltese x poodle, Henry! We decided to seek Roger’s help after Henry’s problems with fear and aggression towards other dogs became unmanageable. Even though Roger’s reviews are excellent, we didn’t have much hope that Henry could be helped as we thought it would be too difficult to improve behaviours he’s had his entire 5 years of life and we were worried that we’d have to be mean to him and change our entire lives in order to help him. Roger truly is as amazing as the reviews say! We cant believe the complete change in Henry’s behaviour after just two training sessions. It didn’t even take the whole two sessions, Henry’s demeanour had changed less than halfway through the first session! Roger was able to ease Henry’s anxiety just through calm leadership and rewards, allowing him to listen and follow instruction. Henry has gone from a dog who has pulled us down the street on every walk, whilst choking himself, lunging at every dog/passerby/van/bike and not listening to anything we say, to a dog who can walk calmly between us and listen to instruction - something we truly never thought possible. Now we just need to implement the simple lessons Roger has taught us to help Henry continue to be the good boy he was always meant to be! Thank you again, Roger! Honestly, I did not believe that someone can change and assist my puppy that much in just two days but now I can say that I believe in miracles. Since he entered my house I knew and it felt right that I did the right thing .Roger is very experienced trainer with a great knowledge.He explains everything in details , very thorough. Now its up to me to follow Roger’s instructions..Second day after the training Leila did not bark at other dogs and doesn't pull on leash.
